2008 Toyota Tundra 5.7l V8 Custom Off-Road Beast

This off-roading beast of a Tundra has been in my family for almost 7 years now, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I love this truck, because even when pushed to its limits, it consistently exceeds my expectations. When I bought this Tundra, the fuel efficiency was not a determining factor for me. With a 5.7L V8, this truck is hungry! On top of that, it has some massive performance mud tires that make the fuel efficiency a mere 11.5 MPG. Regardless, it has taken me on multiple adventures ranging from trails of varying difficulty to middle-of-nowhere hunting trips for that trophy elk.

Tundra

This Tundra has been good to me, and I intend to keep it around for many years to come. This is why I have always gone above and beyond when it comes to keeping it top-notch and at peak performance. As a self-proclaimed gear-head, when I first learned about the ONBOARD® system and what it offers, I was hesitant to say the least. After all, we all know what they say about things that sound too good to be true. Nonetheless, I was intrigued and had to know more. After gaining an understanding of the underlying technology and its functionality, I immediately wanted one in my Tundra. Not only does it offer me a generous fuel efficiency boost, but the best part is that the motor oil in the truck stays as clean as the day I poured it in there 24/7. Even those of us that don’t understand how oil works, know that clean oil performs better than dirty oil, so the benefits quickly become apparent considering that ONBOARD® keeps your oil like new around the clock by using its patented technologies. This ONBOARD® device is exactly what I was looking for to extend the life of my Tundra’s engine, and it comes with an added fuel efficiency bonus of 19% on average.
